International Warranty Returns & Shipping Responsibility
IMPORTANT: All costs of returning products to Canada are the customer's responsibility. A warranty claim, return authorization, or potential manufacturing defect does not by itself provide prepaid shipping or reimbursement.
- Preauthorization required: Contact Canada Pump Center and obtain written return authorization and the correct destination address before shipping any product. Unauthorized shipments may be refused.
- Outbound shipment to our facility: The customer must arrange and prepay 100% of freight, packaging, tracking, insurance, and carrier charges to the facility designated in writing by Canada Pump Center, including all international shipments into Canada.
- Customs and border expenses: The customer is responsible for preparing accurate customs paperwork and paying all applicable duties, import/export taxes, GST/HST, brokerage, customs clearance, storage, handling, and carrier disbursement fees associated with the return shipment.
- No charges billed to us: Do not send shipments freight collect, COD, duties unpaid where charges will be billed to Canada Pump Center, or under our carrier account without written permission. We may refuse or return such shipments at the customer's expense.
- Shipping risks: The customer is responsible for adequate protective packaging and for loss or damage in transit to the designated facility. We recommend insured, trackable shipping. Remove liquids and follow all carrier safety requirements.
- Shipping back to the customer: Following inspection, any return shipment to the customer is at the customer's expense, including freight, insurance, customs, duties, taxes and brokerage charges, unless Canada Pump Center agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise. Payment may be required before dispatch.
- Unapproved claims: If a claim is denied or no covered defect is found, all applicable inspection, return freight, and other disclosed service charges remain the customer's responsibility.
- Other costs excluded: Removal, reinstallation, electrician or plumber charges, site visits, travel, downtime, lost revenue, and third-party labor are not covered except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Shipping a product to Canada without authorization or with unpaid border charges may result in refusal, delays, or additional costs payable by the sender.
Special Note: Solar Pumps
For solar pump models with brushed motors, inspect the brushes every 200 operating hours, or as directed by the manufacturer for your model, and replace them as needed. Normal brush wear is not covered under warranty.
Control Panels & Electrical Protection
External protection devices, including control panels, breakers, and overload relays, must be correctly installed and rated for the equipment. Failures caused by improper or missing protection devices are not covered.
Final Notes
- Warranty coverage does not include misuse, installation errors, or environmental damage.
- A warranty evaluation is required before any remedy is provided.
- These terms are subject to applicable law and do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
